Representative Office (RO) – Registration Documents
A Representative Office (RO) is required to register with the local Industry and Commercial Bureau. This process may require the assistance of a government authorized registration agent and the following documents will be required:
1. A signed letter from the chairman of the board or authorized person, which includes;
Ø A company description of the company
Ø The basis and reasoning for establishment of the office
Ø Name of the RO
Ø The person who will be named Chief Representative
Ø Other foreign staff to be located in the office
Ø Location and intended period of operation
2. Notarized copy of the parent companies business registration/business license
3. Bank reference letter
4. One year lease agreement with a properly zoned commercial office space
5. Letter appointing an individual as the Chief Representative
6. CV and copy of the passport for the Chief Representative and Legal Representative
