Lulu is an Australian Citizen, although she was born and raised in North East China. She was a founder of ChinaFIG and now is the Managing Director in charge of Merge & Acquisition, along with Foreign Direct Investment services.
Lulu has spent over ten years outside of China living and working in Sydney, Auckland, and Moscow. She obtained her license as a Certified Public Accountant in Australia and served with Mine Recourses Ltd., as the Chief Accountant, and with Sophos Antivirus, as the Chief Financial Officer. During her time in Australia, she oversaw numerous overseas investment projects.
In 2002, Lulu returned to China and took a position with Dezan Shira & Associates as the Shanghai office General Manger and Yangtze River Delta Regional Partner. During her time with the firm, Shanghai and China experienced unprecedented growth and she was a consultant to over 500 foreign companies on how to acquire, establish, and manage operations in the Mainland.
As a well respected expert in China investment policies and regulations, Lulu has been invited to speak in the US, UK, Australia, Singapore and with many visiting groups. She has been active in the British Chamber of Commerce, Australian Chamber of Commerce and served as the Vice Chairman of the Finance Working Group, for the European Chamber of Commerce.
Lulu first graduated from North East University with a Bachelors Degree of Science. She later received a Master’s Degree of Economics from Altij Univeristy and a Bachelors Degree of Accounting, from the Manukau Institute of Technology, in New Zealand!
