What is an Equity Joint Venture (EJV)?
An Equity Joint Ventures is a type of partnership between a Chinese party and a foreign party and an entering business vehicle for  China Investment.  A key characteristic of EJV is that the amount of capital contribution dictates the parties’ participation or percentage of profits.  This differs from a Contractual JV, which dictates parties’ participation of profits based on the contract.
